          How It Works

The Eisenhower Matrix, named after President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is a time management framework that divides tasks into four quadrants based on two axes: urgency and importance.

          The Four Quadrants

Q1 — Do First (Urgent & Important): Crises, deadlines, and problems that demand immediate attention. Handle these right away.
Q2 — Schedule (Not Urgent & Important): Long-term goals, planning, and personal development. Block dedicated time for these tasks — they drive meaningful progress.
Q3 — Delegate (Urgent & Not Important): Interruptions, some emails, and meetings that feel pressing but don't contribute to your goals. Hand these off when possible.
Q4 — Eliminate (Not Urgent & Not Important): Time-wasters and distractions. Reduce or remove these from your day.

          Using This Tool

Type a task and select its quadrant, then press Enter or click Add. Drag tasks between quadrants to re-prioritize. Double-click a task to edit it inline. Click the checkbox to mark a task as done. All data is saved automatically in your browser's localStorage — no account needed.
